IRA Accounts Can Be Managed in the Following Cases:
Amendment 190 funds (Income Tax Ordinance) – whether deposited directly into a self-managed account or transferred from an existing account under Amendment 190 within a standard investment track. At the time of account opening, eligibility requires proof of receiving a minimum pension (ILS 4,498 gross as of 2021) or accumulated pension assets of at least ILS 1.343 million.
Study Fund (Keren Hishtalmut) – from a minimum balance of ILS 200,000.
Liquid provident funds deposited up to 31.12.2005 in an individual provident fund account, where at least 15 years have passed since the first deposit.
Funds deposited up to 31.12.2007 in independent or employee provident funds, from age 60 onward.
Beneficiary funds – directly transferred from a deceased account holder’s fund or an account registered in the beneficiary’s name.
Severance funds following tax settlement.
